Every Level lasts 2 months = 8 Weeks (160-45 min. class periods)
Every level is completed with a Test

There is also the possibility of skipping ahead to the next level of language learning if the student shows good signs of achievement.

I. German Main Course

The total Course is ordered in A 1, A 2, B 1, B 2 and C 1, where each level is distinctively ordered after each other by language knowledge. Each course level lasts 8 weeks long, 4 class peroids (45min.) per day (Mon.-Fri). A placement test is given for every level except for A 1.

COURSE LEVELS

A 1:
No prior language learning experience. Introduction to grammar structure of the German language and basic vocabulary and basic every day language usage. Length of course: 8 Weeks (8-12 Participants)

A 2:
Required basic knowledge. Development of basic grammar and extension of vocabulary usage. Introduction to more complicated grammar structure. Fundamentals of working with texts and reading skills. Development of the ability to communicate effectively. Length of course: 8 Weeks (8-12 Participants)

B 1:
Good language capability required. Grammar acquisition and intensive grammar implementation in complicated structures. Preparation for the TELC B 1 German Certificate Test. Length of course: 8 Weeks (8-12 Participants)

B 2:
Required completion of B 1 level. Consolidation of previously acquired language knowledge.
Intensive training of communication capabilities are the central focus. Compilation of grammar specifics. Length of course: 8 Weeks (8-12 Participants)

C 1:
Excellent previous language knowledge necessary. Summary and reconditioning of difficult grammar structure with oral and written exercises. Discussion of foundational selected themes. Editing of complex reading and listening texts. Preparation for the TELC C 1 Test and the Goethe Institute Central Advanced Level Test (Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung).

DSH VORBEREITUNGSKURS: (German as a Foreign Language Preparation Course)
This course counts toward the DSH- Deutsche Hochschulsprachprüfung (equivalent to a German Higher Education School Language Test) in all of the language skills (Listening Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, Text Production).

II. INTENSIVE AND SUPER INTENSIVE COURSES:

This courses are an ideal solution for learners who are able to discipline themselves with an intense time period to the study of the German Language. Length of course: According to personal agreement

Intensive course
This course takes place 8 hours every day with the combination of two main courses (8-12 Participants). The course plan consists of 4 hours during the day from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm and 4 hours in the afternoon, from 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm.

Super Intensive course
This course consists of 6 hours a day next to four hours in a Main course group with 2 individual hours per learner. With the individual treatment, specific language difficulties can be precisely worked on and taken care of.

Summer course (Holiday course )
This course is for all foreign German language learners and those who have finished A Levels who are interested in furthering their education. This is especially for learners want to use their free time to learn or improve the German language in the native environment. 6 hours a day, in which 4 hours take place with a group in the Main course, and 2 hours in a small group (max. 6 people). The main focus with the 2 additional hours during the day is specifically for selected themes in German History, Art History and Literature with current compact lectures. The course includes excursions to regional sights and industry areas. Length of course: 4 Weeks.

III. ECONOMIC GERMAN COURSE (IHK - Preparation):

This course is offered for participants who want to learn specific German for the Economy language, or who would like to improve their already acquired language knowledge. Basic knowledge is required.
This course addresses the program guidelines of the official Handelskammerprüfungen.
Length of course

in small groups of 2-4 people 2 x 2 hours a week
in one-to-one course (individually arranged)
